Book Publication; Light on the Riviera, Photography of the Côte d'Azur

Genevieve Janvrin is pleased to announce the publication of our book, Light on the Riviera; Photography of the Cote d’Azur, which will be published this Spring by TeNeues Publishing. 

Stretching from Menton to Marseille, the Côte d’Azur has inspired photographers, from the early days of the medium to the present day. A colourful, seductive para­dise, it has long been a place to see and be seen. From early pioneer Charles Nègre in Grasse, Germaine Krull in Marseilles, Lee Miller in Mougins to Helmut Newton’s wild fashion shoots in Monaco: each new generation of photographers has produced extraordinary images. Light on the Riviera charts both the history of the medium and the development of this beautiful region over the past 150 years.
